B2B Tip #106 - Terrorists Attack London on 7/7/05
.
My daughter, Cassi Tarver, is sitting at Chicago O'Hare Airport with about 20 other people at this moment, waiting to see if her missions trip to Africa will go on as scheduled.
We were at Church (New Hope Church) at 2:30am today, and Cassi and her Church group flew to Chicago at around 6:00am after that.
Now she and her group sit in Chicago. They were supposed to have already left for London. From there they were scheduled to go on to their final destination in Africa tomorrow.
Now they are sitting in suspension ... as is most of the world as we watch these events reported from London.
... Over 40 dead and over 300 injured as of this moment on the TV reports ...
Those of you who include prayer as part of your daily activities ... please remember Cassi Tarver and her New Hope youth group, as well as the folks in London who are suffering through this tragedy.
Remember our US leaders and the world leaders, too.
Prayer can change things.
But, if you've read your Bible, these things are all prophesied as we approach the end of this Age. These are serious days. The 'unpredictable' has become predictable.
Tell the people you love today that you love them.
The Bible also says that "tomorrow is guaranteed to no one" ... and the Bible does NOT say that God is so weak and feeble that He needs help so He can kill people under the guise of His Arabic nickname "Allah."
NO - He says He "has come that you might have life, and have it more abundantly."
It's the devil who comes to "steal, kill, and destroy."
YOU decide which god I'm talking about here. I've never heard of that god, and I hope I never meet him (her?) (lack of capitalization on purpose.)
All my best to you today and every day .. and please stay safe ...
LAST MINTUE NOTE: Debbie at Church just now called. The London Heathrow Airport is apparently not DIRECTLY affected by today's events, so is acccepting inbound and outbound flights. The youth group is going on to London as scheduled. But they will lose their London city excursion set for tonight when they arrive. Keep them in your prayers.
