Chip's B2B Tip #2 - Who Says It's All About You ?

.
B2B Tip #2 - The Art and Skill Of Listening:
.
One of the most surefire, fastest ways to turn away people is when you're all concerned about *you.* If the first thing you say to someone is why you're so great and why your product (or service, etc.) is so great - you just fell out of the boat without a life jacket.

'Hope you can swim with the sharks ...

Although this saying is beat to death these days - nonetheless it remains 100% true, and folks in the know will tell you this ... the person with whom you're interacting typically cares about exactly one thing - "What's in it for me?"

So you have 2 ears and 1 mouth for a VERY good reason. When you can keep the ratios in check using these two organs, you've made a great stride. Listen first ... talk second. You'll be the "life of the party."

Chip's B2B Tip #1 - Is It All Just About You ?

.
B2B Tip #1 - Overcoming "Stumbling Blocks":
.
These business-to-business relationship tips will typically be very short, many times less than 1 minute to read, and give you something to "chew on" during your day. These tips are designed to be food for thought for you, and will hopefully inspire you with a "feel good" moment, too ... and will give you something valuable you can use *today* ...

Please add this B2B Tips blog to your RSS feed section of your news reader, and enjoy and profit from the tips and techniques I'll share. I respect your time, and won't waste it ... you'll never get this minute back, so I hope you cherish it, and all your other minutes ... like I do ...

Tip #1 - Love and accept yourself. Your mirror is your friend.

Why is this tip #1? "You" is all you have to work with. You're wonderful and valuable just like you are. You have valuable knowledge and experience no one else has.

If you're surrounded by negative people whose goal it is to steal or squash your dreams, change your surroundings today. It's a new year tomorrow. If you keep doing the same things you did in 2004, your 2005 will be just like it. The only difference in "doing it" and not doing it ... is "doing it." Go for it today!
